So…I started my vegan journey on Christmas Day 2017. I watched this documentary called “What the Health “ and it changed my life! It totally opened my 👀. I weighed 155 lbs at that time.. 😳 i Just weighed in for the first time in a while and my scale read 134.2! I couldn’t believe it! I got on and off.. moved it around the house .. the numbers remained the same. I did that until I finally convinced myself that it was true! That’s like a 20 lb difference! I rarely worked out during that time.. only clean vegan eating. I actually just started my workout routine last week which consists of Pilates, strength training, and cardio. I will be posting within the next couple of days and I’m excited to see what the scale will say next! I feel great, and energized .. my clothes .. well they are falling off of me but no complaints there 😄 it just means Im getting that much closer to my goal weight of 125. I’m so excited to go shopping for my new body. I’m really enjoying my new vegan lifestyle. Honestly when I started this I didn’t know how long it would last.. Growing up in New Orleans.. having like 3 different types of meat in 1 meal was almost a daily occurrence. So I’m so proud of myself that I made it this far! I don’t see myself going back now! My life has seriously changed for the better. I feel healthier, I’ve lost the unnecessary weight that I had accumulated from a unhealthy lifestyle, I feel like there’s no stopping me! Hands down The best feeling ever! I’ll be Hitting the grocery store in the AM so I’ll be posting some yummy recipes and pics within the week. Also, I’ll be in my favorite vacation spot so I’ll post additional reviews on the sage bistro!
